Overview

We aim to ensure that every marketing pound you spend becomes a valuable transaction on your website. Our website development and improvement service analyses your site for weaknesses - whether product or service description, navigation or response mechanism - and then provides appropriate solutions. Finally, we’ll monitor your site’s performance using industry standard analytics software to ensure that the changes we make get the results you expect.

The Process

We start with the objective of making every user or prospect interaction valuable. We then design, build and test your website around this fundamental aim:

  1. Define User Journeys
    Each website needs to tell a story, whatever product or service you are selling. And like most good stories, it should have a beginning, a middle and an end. We map the needs of the user (ease of use, relevant information, depth of content and clear processes) to the needs of the provider (customer acquistion, retention, sales etc). This provides a set of user maps or 'user journeys'.
  2. Create Navigational Paths
    We take the 'user journey' and map this to a navigational path for the website. Websites are read by humans and indexed my machines - our aim is to ensure that the navigational path simplifies user interaction whilst encouraging structured indexing.
  3. Develop Content
    The content of your website should create a lasting relationship with the user. It should be relevant to their needs, well written with a strong message and clear structure. The aim is to create content that follows the 'Goldilocks' principle - too little content and the user will look elsewhere; too much content and the user will become confused or bored.
  4. Beautify
    Strong content with a consistent structure is only half of the solution. Our final step ensures that your website is beautiful to the eye and consistent with your brand. We aim to combine the best ergonomics with truly exceptional design - making useable, relevant and beautiful websites.

Website Analytics

We integrate Google Analytics into all the websites be build. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of your content, navigation and design - and then make modifications where necessary. If your website is your primary sales channel, we integrate metrics to define user funnels and measure return on investment (ROI). In addition, any marketing activity (email, PPC, SEO etc.) can be monitored in real-time.
